  Late on Thursday 25th February Dayglo Fishermen performed live for the
first time in 1999. An excited audience, including media representatives,
packed themselves into the Rock Garden in London's Covent Garden, eager
to experience first hand the Dayglo sound. They were not disappointed.
The band opened with 'Underground' - a powerful, energetic track - and
continued with a selection of songs from their current album, 'Painting
Aliens', including the epic 'Voodoo' and the pleasantly unnerving 'Something's
Watching'. The gig was brought to a frenzied climax with the album's
title track, 'Painting Aliens'.
This was, without doubt, Dayglo Fishermens' finest performance - an incredible evening! |
