A
mediocre product can be released in no time. It can be full of faults,
errors, cracks and inaccuracies. It can be created and distributed with
scant regard for excellence.
A product like that can be released in no time, but
it will dissappear in no time, too.
A
quality product needs ample time to develop and mature. It needs to
be tweaked and tuned, trimmed and adjusted. It needs to be nurtured
until every section of every component is in balance - as close to pefection
as it is possible to be.
A quality product like that needs plenty of time to
develop, often much more time than was originally planned.
The new Dayglo Fishermen album is just such a quality
product, and this very minute it is being showered with the care and
attention it deserves. It is now scheduled for release during September
this year.
Quality takes time...
