In late July former Dayglo Fishermen band member David
Fothergill visited the Cozmic Studios facility. And what a productive
visit it was!
Even though it had been more than 12 years since Dave
had last recorded with the band, he had lost none of his technical or
creative prowess. His guest performance on one of the songs for the
forthcoming new album was a startling mix of distorted screams and moaning
harmonics. The new album is certainly shaping up well.
Although Dave left the band many years ago he has
maintained a strong link with Dayglo Fishermen. He is responsible for
the artwork and design of almost all of the band's album covers.
With his new career in 3D computer animation for TV
stations around the world, his creative genius certainly does seem to
know no bounds.
Let's hope that it will not be another 12 years before
Dave makes his next appearance in the studio.
