Last month, December 2016, Dayglo Fishermen reached a milestone - the 25th anniversary of their very first live performance at the Moot Hall, Hexham, UK.
On the night of the 21st December, 1991, five of the band members - Richard Burton, Peter Fothergill, David Fothergill, Eamonn Maddick and Sean Wills - gathered in the ancient venue to perform music selected from their first three albums. Most of that music has never been performed live since.
That astonishingly original performance was recorded, but has remained unreleased to the public... until now.
The recording of the event is available to download from the More Music page as a live album with the memorable name 'Live at the Moot Hall 21 Dec 1991'. Why not treat yourself and listen to it now.
If you'd like to read a more in-depth account of that performance visit the band's Production Blog.
